Love the sign! Really haven't ever felt like that....I tend to figure I don't have to justify myself to anyone, anywhere, at any time. I am my own person, do my own thing......and don't need any approval from anyone!

Wish I could be more like you, granted I always do what I want and buy what I want, just that it feels like I have to justify where I don't bring in any money for things. Granted I do every thing but that.

Very true! The only approval important to me is God's, and my husband. And both are supportive and loving. I wrote a poem about God's approval called "Just As I Am" and with this reminder... I will go post it again. :)

Men have their moments... but after being married to my husband for close to 33 years, I have realized miscommunication was a big factor in our arguments and I am beginning to think men and woman are not only from different planets they speak a different language. I say abc and he hears c8e... so sometimes I have to make sure what I say to him has been understood... because if I don't... he will say 5nw and I'll be thinking why did he say that? That has nothing to do with abc... Miscommunication and misconceptions can throw anyone's relationship off.

Agreed. After being so careful not to upset people by disagreeing just to end up getting my own feelings hurt, I am finally learning to stand up and say i've had enough.

I agree. It seems like I have been having to justify myself lately and it isn't right. Sometimes it's my age and then it's if I take care of my husband. I am mature for my age and take great care of my husband not that I need anyone's approval like you said

I feel it is a fine line the life I live, part of it has to do with when hubby had his stroke, he isn't the same person, personality wise. He just doesn't see things the same way. It just would be nice to not second guess what I do and what not all the time.

So true. I've gotten to the point where I don't feel I need approval so much, from others. God approves, so I should be good.

True but I think sometimes it is easier not to have to be accountable to others, like hubby, just be able to do my own thing. Just having a hard time lately my mood will change soon and things will be better I hope, thanks for listening.
